African Sacred Science™ is a living system of spiritual knowledge rooted in the wisdom traditions of Africa. It teaches that human beings are not separated from the Divine, creation, community, or destiny. We flourish when every dimension of life is brought into right relationship with Divine Source.
At the heart of this philosophy is The Doctrine of Divine Alignment™—the understanding that transformation begins when the inner consciousness is awakened, the Divine Blueprint is remembered, and one’s thoughts, words, character, choices, and actions are brought into harmony with sacred purpose.
The Foundational Philosophy of African Sacred Science™
African Sacred Science teaches that every human being enters life bearing sacred identity, spiritual capacity, and divine purpose. This Divine Blueprint is held within the Orí Inú—the inner spiritual consciousness through which we perceive truth, discern direction, and align with destiny.
Life becomes fragmented when we lose awareness of this inner relationship with the Divine. Restoration begins when we remember who we are, renew the inner consciousness, and live in alignment with Divine Order.
This journey is expressed through three sacred movements:

Awaken to your divine origin, spiritual identity, ancestral inheritance, and sacred worth.
Align
Bring your Orí Inú, thoughts, words, character, choices, relationships, and actions into harmony with Divine Order.

Express your Divine Blueprint through purposeful living, service, wellbeing, prosperity, and contribution to future generations.
Olódùmarè — Divine Source
Pronounced: oh-LOH-doo-mah-reh
Olódùmarè represents the Supreme Source of life, wisdom, order, creative power, and possibility. All life proceeds from the Divine and remains connected to the sacred order of creation.
Orí — The Sacred Head and Destiny
Pronounced: oh-REE
Orí literally means “head,” but within Yoruba sacred philosophy it also carries a deeper relationship to individuality, spiritual authority, and destiny.
Orí Inú — The Inner Head
Pronounced: oh-REE ee-NOO
Orí Inú is the inner spiritual consciousness—the sacred centre of divine identity, awareness, discernment, and alignment. It is through Orí Inú that we remember our Divine Blueprint and receive inner direction for purposeful living.
Àṣẹ — Divine Creative Power
Pronounced: ah-SHEH
Àṣẹ is the sacred power through which thought, speech, intention, and action bring possibility into expression. It reminds us that our words carry spiritual and creative responsibility.
Ìwà Pẹ̀lẹ́ — Sacred Character
Pronounced: ee-wah peh-LEH
Ìwà Pẹ̀lẹ́ is the cultivation of balanced, honourable, compassionate, and disciplined character. African Sacred Science teaches that spiritual power must be governed by sacred character.
Àyànmọ̀ — Divine Destiny
Pronounced: ah-yahn-MOH
Àyànmọ̀ is the unique destiny or Divine Assignment entrusted to a person. Destiny is not merely something that happens to us; it must be remembered, cultivated, and consciously lived.
What African Sacred Science Teaches
African Sacred Science™ teaches that:
- The Divine is the Source and ground of all existence.
- Every person carries sacred identity and spiritual potential.
- Orí Inú is the inner centre of consciousness and divine alignment.
- Human beings participate in shaping life through thought, word, character, choice, and action.
- Spiritual power must be guided by Ìwà Pẹ̀lẹ́—sacred character.
- Prosperity includes spiritual, relational, communal, physical, and material wellbeing.
- The individual belongs within a sacred web of ancestry, community, nature, and future generations.
- Wisdom must be studied, embodied, practised, and transmitted.
What African Sacred Science Teaches
African Sacred Science is not presented as one single tradition shared identically by every African people. Africa holds many sacred knowledge systems, languages, philosophies, and expressions.
The Academy studies the wisdom preserved within Yoruba, Igbo, Akan, Kemetic, Ethiopian, and other African traditions—honouring both their distinctive teachings and their shared concern with Divine Order, consciousness, character, community, destiny, and human flourishing.
This makes the philosophy both deeply African and globally relevant.
